Itinerary
The Agafay desert is located at about 30 kilometers to the south of Marrakech. It’s a rocky area but can be considered as a desert due to the presence of white dunes. Its astonishing oasis offers you a real haven of peace. Berber villages also add their unique touch to make your experience even better. Not that far from Marrakech, the Agafay desert gives you the possibility to try camel riding to discover the splendid scenery it has. The impressive Lalla Takerkoust dam is the perfect place to run away from the heat of Marrakech and to enjoy a peaceful time. It’s a real oasis hidden between different landscapes: desert, mountains and valleys which makes the way to get there truly breathtaking. The dam gives you the chance to try many nautical activities like jetski, pedalboats or even crossing the lake using a canoe. For the nature or adventure lovers, buggy/quad or even horse rides are available to visit the region.
